Introduction

Dipup is a new startup that has created a vegan powder base sauce. The company's mission is to provide a healthy and delicious alternative to traditional sauces that are high in calories and unhealthy ingredients.

The main goal of this project is to design a website that impresses investors and makes the concept and benefits of the product understandable for end-users.

Problem

The target audience of Dip up lacks an understanding of what the product is, how it can be used, and what values it offers.

Design a landing page that can effectively show the actual recipe of the product to users and impress investors by showing the product's different segments.

User research

User interviews

We conducted user interviews with 5 potential customers, aged between 18 and 34, who were interested in vegan food and cooking. The interviews were conducted via video calls. We asked them questions about their cooking habits, their experience with vegan food, and their thoughts on Dipup.

Findings:

 

1. Users were interested in trying new vegan products, but they needed to understand how to use them.

 

2. Users wanted to know more about the nutritional value of Dipup.

 

3. Users were interested in the convenience of Dipup as a quick and easy way to add flavor to their meals.

Competitive Analysis

We conducted a competitive analysis to understand how other vegan food startups present their products on their website. We analyzed their messaging, design, and user experience.

Findings:

 

1. Many vegan food startups focus on highlighting the health benefits of their products.

 

2. Some startups use videos to demonstrate how to use their products.

 

3. The design of the website is simple and visually appealing.

Persona creation

Based on our user research, we created a persona named "Healthy Ella" She is a busy professional who is interested in healthy eating but doesn't have much time to cook. She wants to try new vegan products but needs to understand how to use them.

Based on our research findings, we identified the following key insights:

 

1. Users need clear instructions on how to use Dipup.

 

2. Users want to know more about the nutritional value of Dipup.

 

3. Users are interested in the convenience of Dipup.

 

4. The website should be visually appealing and easy to navigate.

Conclusion

Based on the research findings, I recommend using video content to show what the product is and demonstrate clear instructions on how it can be prepared, as the idea is new and unfamiliar to the target audience. the website should also focus on the health benefits and convenience of Dipup from the customers perspective and as it was an innovative product, different segments were displayed to showcase the competitive advantage of this product to secure more funding for the startup

The header has been fixed to improve user navigation ease.

 A marketing video is  auto-played in the Hero section with hero text to convey the core concept of the product

Displaying the competitive advantages  for customers in the form of various people's opinions and their reasons for using this product.

Takeaways

This project was a great opportunity for me to become more familiar with the challenges and needs of new startups, and to help this startup secure more funding by accurately showcasing the features of their product on the landing page.
